Anex Vietnam Company in cooperation with Vietjet Air officially launched a direct flight from Vladivostok city (Russian Federation) to Phu Quoc special economic zone.
At about 3:30 p.m. on October 19, 2025, Anex Vietnam Company in collaboration with Vietjet Air officially launched a direct flight from Vladivostok city (Russian Federation) to Phu Quoc special zone, marking the reopening of the flight route from Russia to Phu Quoc special zone after a period of interruption;
The first flight with Airbus 321-VJ 3522 of Vietjet Air brought 220 passengers, the first Russian tourists in the Charter tour package program including airfare, accommodation, sightseeing and local services, directly operated by Anex Vietnam Company;

Russian tourists are warmly welcomed when coming to Phu Quoc.
According to the plan, Anex Vietnam Company will operate Charter flights from 14 cities of the Russian Federation and countries in the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) bloc to Phu Quoc Special Zone with a frequency of 75-80 flights/month, ensuring the transportation of more than 10,000 international guests per month; Average stay of over 10 nights/guest, cooperating with more than 110 2-5 star hotels on the island;
Currently, Phu Quoc is in the most beautiful season of the year with clear blue sea, many entertainment activities, rich and diverse cuisine, which will attract a large number of Russian tourists to come and relax. Travel companies specializing in welcoming Russian guests are busy connecting with many service providers on the island to prepare rooms, tour/route services to serve Russian guests;

The reopening of the Charter flight route in winter 2025-2026 promises to be a "boom" time for Phu Quoc tourism, when Charter flights from the Russian Federation and the CIS bloc continuously bring tens of thousands of international tourists to travel and relax, experience the natural beauty and unique culture of the pearl island;
Mr. Bui Quoc Thai, Director of An Giang Department of Tourism, said: “In the first 10 months of 2025, An Giang Tourism welcomed 21.4 million visitors (up 21.7% over the same period), of which international visitors were nearly 1.4 million (up 65.7% over the same period), total revenue reached about 56,056 billion VND (up 78.2% over the same period);
Phu Quoc special zone alone welcomed over 1.3 million international visitors, of which nearly 52,000 were from the Russian Federation, ranking 6th out of the top 10 international tourist markets to Phu Quoc and will continue to increase in late 2025";
The reopening of the connecting flight route from the Russian Federation to Phu Quoc not only helps the locality increase the number of international visitors to the pearl island, thereby stimulating international tourism, contributing to promoting the image of Phu Quoc as a high-class resort destination, while also promoting local socio-economic development.
